Take considerations to the local customs and norms when it comes to dressing. Small shorts and skirts, tight clothing and going with bare-chested is not acceptable. Conservative attire is recommended, especially in Abu Dhabi. It is permissible to go in swimsuits at the beach and pools, but not to be topless. Touching each other in public spaces is not well regarded.
It is permissible to take photos around in Dubai. Governmental buildings, military buildings and airports may not be photographed, and it is considered to be insulting to take pictures of Muslim women, and one should always remember to ask people before taking pictures of them.
